Travel
Cyprus Station, on the Dockland Light Railway (DLR), exits directly onto UEL Docklands Campus.
London City Airport is the closest airport for UEL Docklands Campus, approx. 6 minutes away by taxi and approx. 15 minutes via DLR. London Heathrow, London Gatwick & London Stansted airports are within 90 minutes via taxi & public transport.
It’s possible to travel from London Heathrow Airport directly to UEL Docklands Campus via the Elizabeth line from London Heathrow Airport to Canary Wharf station and then onto the DLR to get to UEL Docklands at Cyprus DLR station.
London is a very connected city with great public transport. It is not possible to use cash to pay for journeys locally or from the airport. Fares are paid via a pre-loaded smartcard “an oystercard” or a personal contactless bankcard or device.
It’s recommended that overseas delegates order a Visitors Oystercard before arrival, which can be purchased from TfL Visitor Shop or VisitBritain Shop.
The Visitors Oystercard will be sent to you at your home location. The main benefit of the Visitors Oystercard is that all fares are discounted (approx 50%) and “price capped” so no matter how many journeys you make per day you will not pay more than that price, approx £5.50 per day.
The price of a standard Oystercard purchased in the UK is £7 and daily travel is price-capped at approx £12.
Use the TfL Go app, downloadable from the Apple or Play Store, to navigate your journeys.
Benefits
Visitors Oystercard will cap your fares at the best daily price, allowing unlimited travel.

Covid-19
We are focused on ensuring a safe and productive conference for all.
We will follow all UK government advice and recommendations and keep delegates updated if any changes have the potential to impact the conference.
As far as we are aware the UK government does not currently require travellers to the UK to verify their vaccination status.
Testing for COVID-19 is voluntary, and we hope that all delegates will monitor their health and test for COVID-19 regularly during the conference.
*** We request that if any delegate feels unwell for any reason or tests positive for COVID-19 they stay away from all in-person conference activities.
For delegates who wish to wear face coverings, please feel free to do so.
Please contact the venue organisers if there are any specific requests or concerns regarding social distancing measures.
We ask that delegates respect each individual’s right to choose whether or not they wear a face covering and/or socially distance. Thank you
